Admiral Group plc ("Admiral")
Following receipt of regulatory approval, the Board of Admiral is pleased to announce the appointment of Penny James as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2015. Penny will also join the Audit Committee on appointment.
Penny James has extensive insurance experience, in particular in her current role as Director of Group Finance at Prudential Plc since March 2011 and her previous appointments as Chief Finance Officer of Omega Insurance Holdings and UK General Insurance CFO of Zurich Financial Services.
Alastair Lyons, Admiral Group Chairman, said: "I am delighted to have someone of Penny's technical capability and broad experience joining the Board thereby ensuring continuity ahead of future retirements of directors at the end of their nine year term."
