The Group has supported and continues to support a number of charities. We do this because we believe it is important to share our success and help deserving organisations with which our brands have a natural affinity. These charities are:
Tusk – For 20 years Tusk Trust has been working to halt the decline in Africa's natural heritage and find a way to combine the interests of people and wildlife alike. It does this through a wide range of practical projects across Africa. It currently provides financial, logistical and practical support for projects spread across 17 African countries. Projects which invest in the future of Africa, protect wildlife, support communities and promote education.
Samaritans - Samaritans provides confidential non-judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide. People contact Samaritans every seven seconds for many reasons: relationship problems, health worries, financial problems, stress at work, loneliness and bereavement. Samaritans relies on donations to train its volunteers, run its 201 branches and continue to provide an essential service to try and prevent suicide.
Great Ormond Street Hospital has been providing care for sick children since 1852. Today it provides world-class care for its young patients and their families from all over the UK, and pioneers new treatments and cures for childhood illness.
Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice - The Ty Hafan Hospice is based in South Wales. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of children with life threatening disorders and their families in Wales by providing a high standard of respite and palliative care.
